The 2008 STAR Awards held at the new home of the Colts, Lucas Oil Stadium set new heights for this annual event. This year we had a record number of entries which topped out at around 90 almost a 100% increase from last year’s number. We were also pleased to see that 260 attendees braved the cold to attend. We mixed things up a bit at this year’s event with a reception style dinner and business casual. We were also fortunate to have Brenda Dant, CAE and Dave Stevens as our sports anchors!

D.R.E.A.M. Alive, Inc was the featured charity for this year’s STAR Awards program. Thank you to all of the members that donated gift cards, gloves, hats, and toys.

Solomon Knight from D.R.E.A.M. Alive had the following to say:
“WOW! WOW! and WOW! PLEASE EXTEND MY HEARTFUL THANKS AND GRATITUDE TO EVERYONE HELPING TO GIVE TO OUR KIDS...you guys went above and beyond. These gifts will be appreciated and enjoyed for the Scholars throughout this school year. Thank you, again!!! Donations exceeded $500.”
