April 19 – Enrich Your Volunteer Program: Luncheon and CAE Recognition

Enrich Your Volunteer Program Fireside Chats

As an association professional, you most likely work in some capacity with volunteers. You probably have memorable stories (good and bad) of your experiences working with them. Can your experience managing volunteers, and their experience volunteering, be enriched?

During our fireside chats, you’ll learn what makes a successful volunteer program for both association staff and volunteers. We’ll discuss how to use you and your volunteers’ time more effectively, as well as new models for volunteer programs (like microvolunteering and leadership development). You’ll also learn how to work with your leadership if you want to change how your volunteer/leadership development program works. Leave this program with great ways to better manage and engage your volunteers to ensure a positive experience for both them and you.

  • Jordan Bentlage, executive director for Sigma Kappa Sorority
  • Rachel Daeger, CAE, executive director for the Society for Nutrition Education and Behavior
