Association Dirty Work: Things You Must Know about Managing Your Association

While perfecting your association’s customer service approach, creating a risk management plan for your association’s events and understanding your association’s financial health may not sound glamorous, they are a vital part of the inner workings of a successful organization. • Sally Cutler from Sally Cutler Communications will discuss how to align your efforts with your association’s mission and values and leverage customer service to ensure success.
  • Michael George from AMJ Insurance will help you minimize your association’s risk by walking you through how to create a risk management plan to protect your association from a financial disaster if you have an incident at your event.
  • Micki Siner, CPA from VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm will share how to avoid common pitfalls associations face in the budgeting process, how to engage non-financial board members and what information you should provide your board regularly to ensure your association’s financial health.
