Facilitator: Gary Bolinger, CAE, president & CEO of the Indiana CPA Society
Gary Bolinger, CAE began his career with the Indiana CPA Society in 1984 as the field activities director and recently celebrated 33 years with the organization. His responsibilities initially included chapter management, relations with educators, the Educational Foundation and legislative relations. He was named executive director in April 1990. Accounting Today named Bolinger one of the “Top 100 Most Influential” people in the accounting profession in 2015 and 2016. In October of 2014, Bolinger received the Sagamore of the Wabash, one of the highest distinctions an Indiana governor can present. In March of 2010, Bolinger received national recognition as he was named AccountingWEB’s Outstanding CPA Association Employee of the year for the prior year. In 2001, Bolinger was named Association Executive of the year by the Indiana Society of Association Executives. And, in 1998, he received the Indiana CPA Society Chairman’s Award. The last three awards are given to an individual who has shown outstanding dedication and service to his organization and profession.
