March 8-9 — Women in Associations Forum

Harness the brainpower of like-minded female professionals in a comfortable space designed to encourage sharing, collaboration and networking. This is a great opportunity to spend dedicated, intentional time on your career and the challenges facing your organization, with the help of a robust community dealing with many of the same things. Designed for women in all levels of association management, from executive leadership to those getting acclimated to the industry, this new workshop will connect you to professionals who can help you grow your skills, improve your organization and strengthen your career.

Attendees will start Thursday evening, with a cocktail reception coupled with a foundation-building session to prepare you for the following day. You’ll enjoy the company of fellow attendees while preparing to spend a full day Friday, learning and growing, both professionally and personally. You’ll also earn a minimum of 6 CAE hours, with participation in both Thursday and Friday sessions.

Erin Fischer
Erin Fischer is the owner and CEO of The Leadership and Training Studio. She has spoken in 45 states, recruited in Hungary, volunteered in Hawaii, taught in Brazil and has been on stages with thousands of people in the audience, all with the focus of developing people, while building teams and organizations. Erin considers herself a leadership nerd – a woman on a mission to help teams and individuals excel at what they do. Her forum is the stage, but her focus is super-cognitive skills. She wants to support the growth of people by giving them time to think, reflect and gain new knowledge.

Shelly Trent, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CAE

Shelly Trent, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CAE, is an HR and career development professional who has spent her life guiding others toward lifelong learning, career growth, and personal enrichment.  Shelly worked as a Field Services Director for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) for over 16 years.  Shelly’s background includes human resources, college career services, corporate employee career development, and business and industry training.

Heather has extensive experience consulting, speaking and training on the topics of leadership development, sales improvement, talent management, strategic planning and executive coaching. Heather’s clients include organizations of all types, from Fortune 500 companies to family-owned businesses.
