Social Media Panel Presenter: Kevin Mayeux, CAE

 

Kevin has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity since 2000.  As CEO, he has responsibility for the overall operations, management, servicing and administration of the Fraternity – with 280 active chapters and colonies, 220,000 alumni, and more than 10,000 active college student members.  TKE has a full-time staff of 28, volunteer staff of more than 3,000, and an annual internal operating budget of $5 million.

 Prior to moving to Indianapolis, Kevin served for three years as Executive Director of the Florida Student Association, representing the state’s college and university students in Florida before the legislature, governor, and board of regents.  He successfully lobbied for many student initiatives and secured a gubernatorial veto of a statewide tuition hike.  Since 1996, he’s been licensed as an attorney in Florida, where he has served on the Student Education & Admissions to the Bar committee.  

Kevin has been an active member of ISAE since 2000, serving as the Society’s President in 2006 and was recognized as Indiana’s Association Executive of the Year in 2008.   He is member of the American Society of Association Executives, Fraternity Executives Association, North-American Interfraternity Conference, Calvin W. Prather Lodge 717 F&AM, and the Murat Temple Shrine.
