Breakout Presenter: Mary Byers, CAE
Mary Byers, CAE is a member of the National Speakers Association and travels nationally providing hands-on leadership programs and facilitating strategic planning sessions for associations and corporations. She has over 20 years experience in the field of association management and previously served as the director of communications and member services for the Illinois State Dental Society. She has worked with a wide variety of organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Illinois Society of Association Executives, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the National Association of Home Builders and the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine.
In addition to speaking and facilitating, Mary writes a regular column for two professional journals and has been published in Entrepreneur and Association Management magazine. She is also the author of five books.
Mary has a degree in telecommunications from Indiana University and is a certified association executive.
