Lunch: The Economics of Building Member Relationships

Achieving success both personally and professionally requires taking a look at the quality of the relationships that you build with others.  Even though these relationships are a key ingredient to achieving success most times we neglect to take the time to build them.  This session will focus on a proactive approach to fostering crucial relationships with your co-workers, members and volunteers in order to gain results. 

Presenter: Jay Dziwlik, Assistant Executive Director, Indiana Dental Association

Jay has been with the Indiana Dental Association since 2000 currently serving as Assistant Executive Director. 

 His responsibilities include coordinating membership, activities at the IU School of Dentistry, and assists with various IDA programs and councils.  He has spoken all across Indiana to dentists and staff as well as at the American Dental Association  Jay is a nationally recognized Certified Association Executive (CAE) and earned his MBA in 1997.  He was Jay awarded the Association Staff Professional of the Year for Indiana by the Indiana Society of Association Executives in 2005. Jay is most proud of his darling wife, Martha and being married happily for 20 years.  He both keeps busy and delights his three children, Samuel (12), Mary (11), and Thomas (9).  He rows, reads, teaches college classes, leads at church, and desires to paint more.
